Allen has over 23 years of experience in the music industry. He began at the age of 9 as a member of the professional touring boy-choir, The Singing Boys of Houston; then as a vocal student at Houston's prestigious High School for the Performing & Visual Arts. He then continued in the Audio Engineering program at San Jacinto College, as well as starting his own location recording business. In 1999 Allen joined the staff at Essential Sound and became the principle mastering engineer in 2003. Allen is a member of the Audio Engineering Society, as well as an active supporter of the Houston music industry.
